Texas
A&M University-Corpus Christi is the only one in the nation that
is located on its very own island. With palm trees lining the pathways
throughout the 240-acre campus, nearby natural wetlands, and a beach
the full length of its Ocean Drive address, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
becomes a first-choice destination for many. Our attitude stays young
because we are able to adapt quickly to new technologies and engage
new energies. These are important assets when students seek a university
that takes the lead, rather than follows.
We invite you to come see why we are one of the fastest
growing universities in the state of Texas. Visit the Island University
today!
The Office of New Student Programs provides campus
tours to all prospective students and their guests. These tours are
conducted by the Island Ambassadors, a group of volunteer students who
are trained in campus history, admissions information, and are able
to answer your questions about campus life, events, and classes. For
more information about touring the university, or to schedule a campus
tour, click here.
Each year Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
hosts a series of open houses in order to give students a first-hand
look at what the university has to offer. Prospective students and guests
are encouraged to take this opportunity to visit with staff and current
students and get a sneak peek at what campus life is all about at the
Island University. By attending Island Day, you're invited to get a
head start on the application process, living arrangements, and financial
assistance. Representatives from various departments will be on-site
to answer any of your questions and assist you in obtaining the tools
you need to achieve at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. To learn more about
our Island Day program, click here.
