Island Ambassador Application

ATTENTION ALL ISLANDERS! The Office of Recruitment and Admissions is seeking students with school spirit to represent the University as an Island Ambassador.  

Island Ambassadors are the face of the University and serve as volunteer tour guides, leading prospective students and their families on tours of campus. Island Ambassadors also make Island Day possible for the hundreds of visitors who make their way to the Island University!

GPA Policy: All ambassadors must maintain at least a 2.75 GPA 

Application Process:

Applications Due: Tuesday, January 22nd 

Interviews: January 15th – January 23rd (Interviews will be scheduled when your applications are submited)

Selection Notifications: January 15th – January 23rd

Meet and Greet (for selected ambassadors): Friday, January 25th 

Training #1: Friday, February 1st 

Mandatory Island Ambassador Events:

  • Weekly campus tour

  • Island Day Events:

    • February 2, April 6

  • Graduation Ushers:

    • May 11
