Island Ambassador Application

ATTENTION ALL ISLANDERS! The Office of Recruitment and Admissions is seeking students with school spirit to represent the University as an Island Ambassador.  

Island Ambassadors are the face of the University and serve as volunteer tour guides, leading prospective students and their families on tours of campus. Island Ambassadors also make Island Day possible for the hundreds of visitors who make their way to the Island University!

Application Process:

Applications Due: Wednesday, September 5th

Interviews: September 5th – September 8th and September 10th – September 12th

Selection Notifications: Thursday, September 13th

Meet and Greet (for selected ambassadors): Friday, September 14th

Training #1: Saturday, September 15th

Training #2: Saturday, September 29th

Training #3: Saturday, October 6th 

Mandatory Island Ambassador Events:

  • Weekly campus tour

  • Island Day Events:

    • October 20, November 17, February 2, April 6

  • Graduation Ushers:

    • December 15, May 11
