The Campus Visit program for groups provides guided walking tours of campus to school/community groups of 15-100. If you are a school counselor or group representative and would like to bring your students to visit the campus, we invite you to take advantage of Campus Visit program options.
When are group tours offered?
Campus tours for groups of 100 or fewer visitors are offered at 10 a.m. Monday through Friday by the Islander Welcome Center. Because we rely on our student tour guide availability to conduct our tours and campus facilities, we regret that we cannot accommodate groups larger than 100 for these regularly scheduled tours.
Group visit requests must be processed at least four weeks prior to your requested visit date. Group visit availability is limited and visits tend to fill up quickly. After your request is submitted, our office will contact you within 3 business days. Please do not finalize your plans until we confirm your requested date as we cannot guarantee that your group will be accommodated. We require at least four weeks notice, ideally, 1-2 months from the day of the visit.
How should I schedule my Tour?
Due to a high volume of group tours, please send an email request to email@example.com to inquire about scheduling your future campus tour. Please include the following information in your email:
Note: Group Visits are not available on weekends, holidays, academic breaks (Spring Break), or on select University event days (Island Day/Orientation), or during certain office functions. Overnight accommodations for tours are not available.
How long do tours last?
A Group Visit includes a 45-60 minute student-led campus tour with additional options depending on group type and requests. Depending on the group type, your visit can last anywhere between 1 to 2 hours in length.
Preparing for your visit:
• We ask that your group please arrive 10-15 minutes before your tour is scheduled to begin.
• Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
• Find driving directions and a campus map on our Travel Accommodations page.
• If you will require special accommodations during your visit, please include the information in the email request (firstname.lastname@example.org) to make arrangements.
