Family/Individual Tours
The Office of New Student Programs offers free tours of the University by appointment to prospective students and those interested in learning more about the Island University.

Campus tours are currently available for booking Monday through Friday at 10 a.m., and again at 1 p.m. All weekday tours meet on the first floor of the Student Services Center (also known as the Round Building, #5 on campus map) and generally last 1 to 1 1/2 hours depending on the tour guide. Campus tours also include the option of touring our on-campus housing facilities. Please note that campus tours must be scheduled by interested parties in advance so as to assure the availability of a tour guide.

Campus tours are also available for booking on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. and meet on the first floor of the University Center (#12 on campus map). As with weekday tours, campus tours on Saturday must be scheduled in advance so as to assure the availability of a tour guide. (PLEASE NOTE: The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi campus is closed on weekends, so many of the buildings available for public viewing during the week will be inaccessible for tours visiting the campus on a weekend.)

Again, we ask that all parties interested in taking a campus tour contact our offices in advance to ensure the availability of a tour guide. Campus tours are not available for booking on Sundays, University holidays, or during Island Day programs.

If you are interested in scheduling a family/individual tour of the university, please contact a representative with the Office of New Student Programs by phone at 361.825.6051, or by e-mail at nspoffice@tamucc.edu.

Group/School Tours

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi would be happy to show your school group or organization around the campus. As with family/individual tours, appointments are required for all group tours. Since more planning is involved in establishing a group tour, we require that groups interested in arranging a tour of the campus give our office at least three weeks notice with a guaranteed number of those attending in order to accommodate your requests.

Group tours are currently available for booking Monday through Friday at 10 a.m., and 1 p.m. (depending upon the type of Island ExperienceTour scheduled). All group tours meet on the first floor of the University Center (#12 on campus map) and generally last 1 to 2 hours depending on the type of Island Experience Tour booked. Group tours are not available on the weekends. If you would like your school group to visit the campus on a weekend, please contact the Office of New Student Programs to discuss options for bringing your group to attend one of our Island Day programs.

The Office of New Student Programs offers several tour programs for interested groups. Called Island Experience tours, these campus tours are designed for school groups or organizations of 10 or more and come in a variety of experiences to meet your needs.
