School and Community Group Tours

Thank you for your interest in brining a group of students to tour Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi!

One hour Group Tours for 10 to 100 people are offered at 10:00am, Monday through Friday. Group visits must be processed at least four weeks prior to your requested visit date.

All requests will be considered.

Group visit availability is limited and visits tend to fill quickly. After your request in submitted, a group tour coordinator will contact you within 3 business days. Please do not finalize your plans until we confirm your requested date as we cannot guarantee that your group will be accommodated.

Note: Group Tours are not available on weekends, holidays, academic breaks, on select university events, or during certain office functions. Overnight accommodations are not available for group tours.

Group Tour Information

Group tours are typically one hour in length and begin and end at the University Center (#30 on the campus map).

Special Requests:

Group Tours can include the following opportunities by request if available. Special requests are not guaranteed.

  • Admissions and/or Financial Aid Presentations: If space allows, and staff are available, a 30 minute admissions and/or financial aid presentation can be offered.

  • Lunch at the Islander Dining Hall: If you are interested in having lunch in the all-you-care-to-eat Islander Dining Hall, please let us know so we can work with our dining hall staff to schedule your meals. This is dependent on availability. The tax exempt rate is $8.31 per person. If a tax exemption form is not provided on the day of the event, a fee of $9.00 per person will be charged.

    • Group lunch availability is offered between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

    • Payment options include cash, credit/debit cards, and checks. Checks can be made payable to Chartwells Higher Education. Refunds are not provided.

  • Lunch at The Cove Food Court for groups with less than 30 people: The Cove is TAMU-CC’s food court in the University Center. Various eateries are available including Chick-Fil-A, Pizza Hut, Panda Express, Oso Creek BBQ, a salad bar, and The Grill.

    • Payment options include: Cash and credit/debit cards.

    • Groups with more than 30 people should only consider meals at the Islander Dining Hall.

  • Islander Housing Tours: Miramar (located on the island campus) is the easiest option for a tour and is located just steps from the Islander Dining Hall. Momentum Village (located one mile away on the Momentum Campus) also offers tours, but the group must drive to this community. Please let us know if you're interested in a tour of Islander Housing so we can check availability for your group.

  • Bringing Outside Food: Please complete a Food Exemption Form and upload this in your request. The Office of University Services will review your request and determine if you can bring off-campus food to campus. If space cannot be secured on campus for your group to eat, you may have to find an alternative location off-campus.
