Island Ambassador Application

ATTENTION ALL ISLANDERS! The Office of Recruitment and Admissions is seeking students with school spirit to represent the University as an Island Ambassador.  

Island Ambassadors are the face of the University and serve as volunteer tour guides, leading prospective students and their families on tours of campus. Island Ambassadors also make Island Day possible for the hundreds of visitors who make their way to the Island University!

GPA Policy: All ambassadors must maintain at least a 2.75 GPA 

Application Process:
Complete the online application below. Once your application is reviewed, you will be contacted for a virtual Webex interview. Interviews are informal and conducted by the Island Ambassador Program advisor. 

Mandatory Island Ambassador Events:
If selected, Island Ambassadors must attend the following mandatory events:
>Meet & Greet/Training #1 - Saturday, January 30, 2021 (10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
>Training #2 (evening) - Wednesday, February 3, 2021 (6:00 - 8:00 p.m.) 
>Island Day - Saturday, February 6, 2021
>Training #3 - Saturday, February 13, 2021 (1:00 - 6:00 p.m.)
>Campus Tour Trainings (Follow two tours between February 15 - 26) 

>Be campus tour certified by March 5th
>Admitted Student Day - Saturday, April 17
>PSA Connection Day - Saturday, May 1 

Incentives of being an Island Ambassador:
